ALSO, proving that when you're hot you're sizzling...
with an official airplay impact date of July 13, “Welcome to the Future” has already rocketed into the country radio Top 30, and with good reason, with Music Row’s Robert K. Oermann cheering the single as “Utterly joyous sounding … I’m just loving this total audio delight, because it rocks in every way.”  Oermann continues, “In fact, check out the whole American Saturday Night CD.  It has ‘Album of the Year’ potential in every groove.”

More accolades include CMT.com’s Chet Flippo writes, “Of the major male country singer-songwriters, Paisley has proven to be the most adept at exploring the possibilities of modern country music.  This is a solid work from beginning to end.”

And,
Remember, both Paisley and Krauss will be participating in the July 21 Country Music Celebration as part of the White House Concert Series, an ongoing celebration of the arts hosted by First Lady Michelle Obama.  Following an afternoon workshop for 120 middle and high school students from across the country, an evening performance by Paisley and Krauss in the East Room of the White House will be attended by the President and First Lady, as well as students, White House staff, and members of Congress.

JIMMY  WAYNE INVITES OPRY AUDIENCE TO HANG WITH HIM

When Jimmy Wayne played the Opry Tuesday night (July 14), little did the audience suspect that some of them would actually be breaking bread with the singer following the show.  Once Wayne hit the stage, the screams from the front row of predominantly female fans erupted, and didn't let up through his three-song performance, which included his current single, "I'll Be That."

Near the end of his set, Wayne said, "Come on and join me for some sweet tea and a baked sweet potato at Santa Fe," referring to a popular restaurant near the Opry House. By the time Wayne arrived at the restaurant, about a dozen fans were waiting in the parking lot and lobby to see if he'd really show up, and within 15 minutes about two dozen total were seated around tables pushed together to accommodate the crowd.
