CARRIE UNDERWOOD PILING UP GREAT STUFF
You could say that Carrie Underwood is on a roll. On the heels of picking up her 5th Grammy award, she's headed toward another amazing weekend as she performs the national anthem for Sunday’s Super Bowl XLIV, then she did some winning of her own, scoring #1 video on iTunes with “Temporary Home.”
iTunes debuted the powerful video yesterday with a two-day exclusive, February 2 and 3, and “Temporary Home” will hit the broadcast airwaves when it makes its television debut February 4 in Hot Shot rotation on CMT and in Turbo rotation on GAC.
Fans can read about Carrie 'cause she's on the cover of the March issue of Cosmopolitan, on stands early this month, with an Allure cover feature hitting stands for their April issue. TAYLOR SWIFT IS FULL OF "GLEE"
cf.com Taylor Swift is full of glee about the TV show "Glee" that is. Taylor has been spotted lately hanging out with Cory Monteith, who plays the jock character Finn on the TV show Glee. According to Perez Hilton they had dinner together last week before hitting some Grammy parties. There’s no word on whether the two are dating or just friends, but according to MTV UK, Taylor would love to make a guest appearance on Glee. She says, “I'm really loving Glee right now. If it did happen, I'd love to see what they would do with me.”
TAYLOR'S TRIP A BREAK FROM CONSTANT SPOTLIGHT
When Taylor has finished her Australia tour, she'll be headed to Japan, which will take her out of the U.S. spotlight for a while. And considering her omni presence of late, that's a good thing. Her label head, Scott Borchetta says, "The next time you see her will likely be on the ACM awards show. During that time, we're going to have a new video, but as far as the talking head of Taylor Swift, that one's gone into hiding for a little bit, at least on this continent." But he does add, "as much as you try to pull back, there are some things you can't stop. We can't stop Us Weekly from snapping a picture of her and putting it on the cover." Taylor will kick off her sold-out North American tour on March 4th and she’ll continue working on her next album, with the first single expected to be released in late summer or early fall, followed by the album in late 2010. You can watch Taylor’s “Grammy-cam” footage on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today.

STEVE WARINER TAKES HIS GOOD VIBE TO THE COUNTRY VIBE
Chet Atkins had a real protege in Steve Wariner. He loved Steve's guitar playing so much he took Steve on the road with him on his one man magical guitar show, except for some accompaniment by Steve. Then Chet would let Steve step out front to show what he could do which was plenty good. So, it was altogether fitting that Steve was uniquely qualified to have paid tribute to Chet Atkins with lovingly authentic tribute to his mentor with the release of his “Steve Wariner, c.g.p., My Tribute To Chet Atkins.”
And you're likely to hear some of Steve's musical tribute to Chet and other stuff when he visits this week on this week’s edition of The Country Vibe with Chuck and Becca.
During the show you'll hear a track from the CD, “Producer’s Medley,” that won him a recent GRAMMY for Best Instrumental Performance. It was his fourth GRAMMY award.
