JERROD NIEMANN'S ALBUM SET FOR ARRIVAL TUESDAY

Jerrod Niemann promises fans a chance to laugh, groove, with the release of his new album  JUDGE JERROD'S JERROD & THE HUNG JUR when it debuts this Tuesday, July 13th. It’s packed with 20 tracks — a dozen songs, ten of which Jerrod had a hand in writing — together with eight fun-filled skits spotlighting Jerrod’s playful and irreverent sense of humor.

Jerrod explains, “What I would say about this album is it is…it was all created to, you know, make everybody smile in these times of economic crisis, not to be cliché. And just, everybody has issues and problems, and I was at a real depressed state when I first started the album. And we would go in and record the skits and laugh so hard in the process that I thought that if we could get the public to laugh one percent as much as we did, then hopefully we’d be doin’ our job.”

JACK INGRAM BRAVES WRATH OF HURRICANE ALEX TO GET TO CONCERT

His motto has long been 'Keep On Keepin' On' and last weekend Jack Ingram lived up to that charge in every way possible.  Jack, who was booked for a 4th of July Weekend performance in Aberdeen, South Dakota, was on a delayed flight connecting through Houston the morning of July 2nd.  Because of the imending weather issues triggered by Hurricane Alex, flights were grounded at Houston's George Bush International Airport, and all flights set for later in the day were oversold.  The situation presented Jack with an on-the-spot decision.  "Man, I just love to play music, and when I realized that it was the day of the show and chances of me making it out of Houston commericially were next to nothing, I made some calls and found a private jet on the ground in Houston," recalls the singer-songwriter in the middle of his summer tour.  "I hate to let the fans down, and I pride myself in not missing shows.  Because few planes were departing from or arriving into Houston that day, I knew that the only chance of me getting to South Dakota was to find a plane already on the ground.  The only issue was this plane was parked down at Houston Hobby Airport and I was an hour away, north of the city.  So, I ran down to the rental car counter, jumped into whatever car they had on-hand and drove down to Hobby.  It was insane all the way there.  Water was rising on the streets and the road that led me to the charter jet had water knee high.  I was hoping that the engine wasn't going to give out on me as I drove through the water. Luckily, I made it to the small plane, boarded as the lone passenger, asked them to take off immediately, and arrived in sunny South Dakota in just enough time to hit the stage.  I don't know if it was just me, but the crowd seemed to be a little louder and the beer seemed a little colder that night as I took it all in.  When you love what you do, you don't want to miss moments like this."

STEEL MAGNOLIA SAYS ENCORE IS HIGHLIGHT OF EACH NIGHT ON BRAD'S H2O TOUR

Steel Magnolia's Joshua Scott Jones and Meghan Linsey are part of one of the hottest tours of the year, Brad Paisley's H2O World Tour, and the duo says the highlight of each night for them is taking the main stage with their tour mates during Brad's encore.  “Justin Moore, Darius [Rucker], Josh Thompson and Easton Corbin, and some of our band members get up on stage at the end of each night when Brad kicks into ‘Alcohol’ at the end of his amazing set, and of course, the crowd goes crazy," notes Josh.  "We wait a few minutes and then we walk out and the crowd sees Darius and Justin and all of us from the Plaza stage and they love it.

THE BAND PERRY’S DEBUT ALBUM SCHEDULED FOR RELEASE OCTOBER 5

Republic Nashville’s The Band Perry - siblings Kimberly, Neil and Reid Perry - will release their first album on October 5.

The self-titled album will contain the trio‘s current single, “If I Die Young,“ #27/#32 on the Billboard/Mediabase singles charts. Written by the band, “If I Die Young” is now available on the trio’s self-titled EP, released in April and available through all major online music sites. “If I Die Young” is The Band Perry’s second single for Republic Nashville; their debut single, “Hip To My Heart,” was a Top Twenty hit. The lush, thought-provoking video for “If I Die Young,” directed by David McClister, (Lady Antebellum, LeAnn Rimes), was shot at Nashville’s historic Two Rivers Mansion.

This summer, the band is putting the finishing touches on their debut album while also working an ambitious touring schedule. Their concerts will take them from one end of the country to another, opening shows for such artists as Keith Urban, Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson and Zac Brown Band.
