Toby recently helped to create the new spirit, which is handcrafted from 100% green agave. "The tradition and history of Mezcal is magical to me, and dates back to 16th century warriors celebrating the defeat of their enemies," Keith says, a concept with clear parallels to "Beer For My Horses":

The multi-week No. 1 smash "Beer For My Horses" has been a staple of Toby Keith's standing-room-only live shows for years. And every night, the acclaimed entertainer raises a glass during the tune and toasts firefighters, soldiers and law enforcement. The inevitable question - "What are you drinking?" - can now be definitively answered. He's saluting those who serve with Toby Keith's Wild Shot Mezcal.

"The tradition and history of Mezcal is magical to me, and dates back to 16th century warriors celebrating the defeat of their enemies," Keith says, a concept with clear parallels to "Beer For My Horses":

When the gun smoke settles we'll sing a victory tune
We'll all meet back at the local saloon
We'll raise up our glasses against evil forces...

The music TOBY writes and records has become the foundation of a far-reaching entertainment empire, which now includes Wild Shot Mezcal. His current album Bullets In The Gun debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 and his single "Somewhere Else" is racing up the country charts.
No word on whether Keith's customary shot includes the bottle's worm.

KENNY CHESNEY HELPS EASE THE PAIN OF TUSCALOOSA

Although the pain from the devastation was still palpable, the sold-out crowd at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater put aside their worries for a few hours last night for a very special evening of Kenny Chesney's 'Goin' Coastal' Tour. Chesney, his management and booking representatives donated all fees and earnings from the show to the tornado relief charity, GiveTuscaloosa.com.

Chesney started the day with lunch with University of Alabama head coach Nick Saban who personally relayed his experiences of the tragedy. Saban's Charity Fund, Nick's Kids, has donated $50,000 to Project Team Up to help victims through the recovery process and to help rebuild the 11% of homes in Tuscaloosa that were destroyed by the tornadoes. To learn more about how you can help and/or to donate money go to www.projectteamup.com.

Before the show, Chesney met with Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox who thanked him for his donation to GiveTuscaloosa.com. Mayor Maddox said, "We refuse to let April 27th define our future and this is another step forward to a new tomorrow. On behalf of the City of Tuscaloosa, I want to thank Kenny and his team for their generosity and compassion. It is the kindness of others that will carry us through as we rebuild Tuscaloosa."

MAC McANALLY  joined Chesney on stage for "Back Where I Come From" and "Down The Road," a 2 week # 1 single for Chesney, both written by McAnally. Currently on tour with Jimmy Buffet as part of the Coral Reefer band, McAnally made the trip to Tuscaloosa on a rare night off to take part in the show.

TAYLOR RELEASES ³STORY OF US" VIDEO

Taylor Swift launched her new "Story of Us" video on MTV on Tuesday night,
sparking fresh gossip over who inspired the love song. Swift, who famously
wrote "Forever & Always" about ex Joe Jonas, confessed the song is
definitely about a former flame.
"Any time I'm onstage or watching the music video, the first thing that
comes into my mind is the person I wrote the song about," she told MTV.
"It's like the first thing that you think of is the moment that inspired the
song, which is that excruciating, awful moment when you run into an ex for
the first time."

Could it be John Mayer, Taylor Lautner or even Lucas Till? So far Taylor
ain't saying who "Story" is based on, but will offer a few details.

"Afterward, I just felt so empty, like we were both fighting this silent
war of pretending we didn't care that the other was there," she said. "And I
went home, and I wrote this song about it."
The "Story of Us," off her "Speak Now" album, captures the spirit of her
awards show encounter, but in a different setting. In the video the couple
falls in and out of love in the Vanderbilt University library. Looking
especially preppy in her Ivy League get-up, Swift turns up the on-screen
angst -- big time. Whom do you think the video is about?

KELLIE PICKLER LAUNCHES "TOUGH"

Growing up the way Kellie Pickler did, being tough was a necessity. That
strength is the essence of her new single ³Tough,² the debut single from her
forthcoming album. The song was written by hit songwriter Leslie Satcher
specifically for Pickler, and is now at country radio.

During a writing session, Satcher was quickly taken by Pickler¹s personality
and story and decided to write a song about her. ³Kellie speaks lyrically,²
enthused Satcher. ³Many of the lines in ŒTough¹ were inspired by
conversations I had with her. I¹ve only written two other songs specifically
for artists. One was ŒTroubadour¹ for George Strait and the other was ŒYou
Remain¹ for Willie Nelson which he recorded with Bonnie Raitt.²

ALSO...KELLIE TO INDY 500
On Saturday, Kellie will join CNN¹s Anderson Cooper at the Indianapolis 500
Parade. She will kick off the parade with a performance of ³Tough.² Fans can
listen to and share the new song exclusively at kelliepickler.com.

With a life-changing new single, ³In God¹s Time,² hitting the radio charts,
country music artist Randy Houser is beginning to understand that everything
truly does happen Œin God¹s time.¹ An avid Willie Nelson fan since early
childhood, he now gets to do something he never dreamed he would-- share the
stage with his personal hero out on the renowned Country Throwdown Tour. The
25-date trek kicks off on Friday, May 27 in Philadelphia, PA and features a
star-studded line-up of some of Randy¹s personal friends and colleagues:
Jamey Johnson, Lee Brice, Jack Ingram, Brantley Gilbert, Craig Campbell and
more.

"When I think about how epic of an artist Willie Nelson is, and the ways in
which he impacted our format to make it what it is today, it blows my mind
that I get to perform with him out there. I don't know what I did to deserve
that!"

Called a "powerhouse, soulful performer" by Pollstar and a "crowd-pleaser"by The New York Times, Houser is known for the his bona fide heartfelt
conviction in his live performances and self-penned songs; sure to always
touch a chord with crowds.

"When I go out there and sing, I cannot half-ass it," he says. "That's just
part of the way I grew up. You go at something, you want to sell it. When
I've got something to say, especially in a song, I want you to get it, so
I¹m not one of those quiet singers. I can't just lullaby you. I'm getting on
it."For a full list of Willie Nelson's Country Throwdown Tour stops, visit

DAVID ST. ROMAIN PERFORMING AT NASHVILLE NAVY PARTY
TO KICK OFF CMA MUSIC FEST

Show Starts at 5:00pm at Limelight on Tuesday, June 7th

Aria Records Nashville artist and Nashville Star finalist David St. Romain
is in the holiday spirit. Coming off of Mother's Day and the extraordinary
reaction to his single "Twenty Years Late," St. Romain is turning his
attention to Memorial Day and his former compatriots in military service.
Few things are as pure as a mother's love, as David acknowledges in his
latest single, which received tremendous attention over the Mother's Day
weekend. One endeavor that measures up is the willingness to sacrifice on
behalf of country, a commitment that's recognized each year on Memorial Day.

For David, that's not an abstraction. A former member of the Louisiana Army
National Guard, he served honorably with men and women who willingly put
themselves in harm's way on behalf of their fellow Americans. "My brother
was in the national guard, so it was an obvious choice for me," he explains.
"Our parents couldn't afford to send me to college, so the Guard was a way
to take that step."

After the Memorial Day holiday weekend, David heads to Nashville to
celebrate at the largest country music festival, CMA Music Festival.

In other David St. Romain news, "Twenty Years Late" has been added at cable
network CMT Pure. The clip has already hit No. 1 on GAC's gactv.com.  He is
also busy supporting his debut album, All I Really Wanted To Say.  He wrote
or co-wrote six of the collection's 12 songs.   Some of the top Nashville
writers penning tracks on the album include Brett James, Chris Tompkins and
Jeffrey Steele.
