 45TH CMA AWARDS WINNERS

The 45th Annual CMA Awards will be remembered for some great on-air performances, particularly the incredible, already unforgettable, opening performance of "Footloose" by Blake Shelton and Kenny Loggins...not-to-mention some well-deserved Top Star winners and game-changing new winners being honored in this years awards show spectacular. Repeat co-hosts, Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood were great when the sang together and greatly funny when it called for patter between awards.

TAYLOR SWIFT SWIFT CAPPED HER STEADY RISE TO PROMINENCE WITH 2ND ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR WIN

Anybody that saw Taylor Swift's amazing road show this year understands why she was nominated for Entertainer of the year...and her second win in this most coveted category is well-deserved given her constant growth as an entertainer from her teen years to womanhood. Taylor rightfully hugged her mother first when her Entertainer win was announced, and then gave a hug to her visionary label head, Scott Borchetta, his well-deserved reward for having the insight to sign such a fearless and ambitious young teenager named Taylor.

Sugarland, Kenny Chesney with Grace Potter, Rascal Flatts with Natasha Bedingfield and the Zac Brown Band, and Faith HIll all took the stage contributing hot performances while Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert nabbed Male and Female Vocalist of the Year honors, respectively.

Additionally, Vince Gill, Brad Paisley and Keith Urban teamed up to pay tribute to Glen Campbell for his amazing career in country music while sketches with muppets and an old Justin Bieber impersonator were intertwined to draw a few laughs.

AND, the Band Perry has officially arrived to star status last night thanks to the Kimberly Perry-written "If I Die Young" winning both Single and Song of the year honors."

MIRANDA LAMBERT MAKES HISTORY AS FOUR THE RECORD DEBUTS #1 ON BILLBOARD’S TOP COUNTRY ALBUMS CHART

Wednesday was a good day for Miranda Lambert. Adding to her big CMA  wins,  her new album Four The Record debuted atop Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart.  Miranda Lambert becomes the first country artist in the 47 year history of the chart to have each of her first four albums debut at # 1. With more than 133,000 albums sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan, Four The Record more than doubles the first week sales of her previous album. All three of her prior albums have been certified Platinum! Four The Record debuts at # 3 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart.

On the feat Lambert said, “Ok, that’s crazy! When you start out, you want to blaze your own trail and set your goals, and I always worry about living up to the standard I set for myself. But I hope it says to every artist who is starting out that if you really go with your heart and stick to your guns and feel okay with exercising your creative license, it will all end up great because you are doing what you believe in.”

JOSH TURNER’S FOURTH #1 SINGLE “ALL OVER ME”

HONORED AS BMI “SONG OF THE YEAR”

Josh Turner’s fourth #1 single “All Over Me” was honored as BMI’s “Song of the Year” last night. The award honored the infamous “Peach Pickers” trio-  Ben Hayslip, Dallas Davidson and Rhett Akins. TALK 'ROUND THE ROW

THE COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION EXTENDS BROADCAST AGREEMENT WITH ABC

Even before the fabulous awards show that aired last night, ABC AND THE CMA extended their broadcast agreement.

The New 10-Year Agreement Extends Partnership Through 2021

The ABC Television Network and the Country Music Association have extended their broadcast agreement through 2021 announced ABC Entertainment Group President Paul Lee and CMA Chief Executive Officer Steve Moore. The new agreement assures broadcasts of the CMA franchises including the "CMA Awards," the "CMA Festival: Country's Night to Rock," and the "CMA Country Christmas" for another decade.

"We are thrilled that the CMA and Country Music will continue to call ABC their home for the next 10 years. We have built an incredible partnership together, and that partnership will only grow stronger over the next decade," said Lee.

"We value our partnership with ABC and their commitment to CMA and Country Music," said Moore. "ABC has demonstrated a passion for the format and our television properties. We have seen the CMA Music Festival special grow to three hours; we have added a holiday special, 'CMA Country Christmas'; and our crown jewel, the CMA Awards, has reached a new, enthusiastic audience."

MARK WAYNE GLASMIRE NEW EP

Brings Compelling Vocals & New Tunes To Global Market With January 10 EP Rollout

Award-winning songwriter Mark Wayne Glasmire brings his compelling vocals and new tunes to the global market with the January 10, 2012 rollout of his seven-song EP, MARK WAYNE GLASMIRE (Traceway Records).  The disc, currently featured on iTunes' Country New And Noteworthy page, includes the International smash, "I Like You," alight-hearted ode that kept the entertainer at #1 on the HotDisc Chart for nine consecutive weeks earlier this year.  The EP's first U.S. single, the poignant "Going Home," was released in September.  The song, inspired by a conversation Mark had with a friend who was retiring from a decades-long military career, is the subject of Glasmire's debut video, a Harold Jarboe (Bell-Jarboe Films production, http://youtu.be/9u6cl8zjI7A).

JEFF DUNHAM'S "CONTROLLED CHAOS" DVD/BLU-RAY HITS PLATINUM IN A WEEK

AVAILABLE FOR MEDIA INTERVIEWS IN LOS ANGELES ON NOVEMBER 17 & 18

Comedy phenomenon Jeff Dunham, hailed as "America's favorite comedian" and "The Hardest Working Hand in Show Business" (Slate) and "perhaps the most popular comedian in the U.S." by Time,  recently debuted his fourth standup special "Controlled Chaos."

The special became the most watched cable show on its Sunday, September 25 premiere, drawing 5.5 million viewers to handily take most watched honors in its first airing that night and then being seen by 2.8 million in its later re-air for a total of 8.3 million. And it beat out some stiff competition: Emmy winning shows like "Boardwalk Empire" in its second season debut and "Breaking Bad," the NASCAR Sprint Cup race and TLC's popular "Sister Wives." Plus a repeat of Dunham's already widely-seen and more than million selling "Spark Of Insanity" special also drew 2.2 million to earn Dunham a grand evening total of 10.5 million with all three special showings in the Top 10. DVD & Blu-ray also hit platinum sales in just a week.
