___________________________ LUCKY OLD SUN IS LIKE A VISIT TO CHESNEY'S BOAT
Photo by Neil Haislop After a career that's been pedal to the metal for the last 5 years or so culminating in an unprecedented country tour of 14 stadiums and more, Kenny Chesney releases an album (tomorrow) that reflects his need, in between tours, to contemplate the highs and lows of his life when periodically coming out of career warp speed. It contains some of his deepest and most personal songs, delivered by some of the most laid back, soulful, dripped-with-meaning vocals of his career.
Kenny says, "My life is a lot like a baseball season, my tour goes from April to September and pretty much the whole time my foot is on the gas pedal and when we're on stage it's full blast. This record reflects me when I'm not in that mode. It's more of an acoustic record than I've ever recorded..as far as the production standpoint," says Kenny. He further describes it as what a guest on his boat in the Caribbean would experience,
"If I could take the people that listen to me down to my boat and I pulled out a guitar out of the case and played this music this album would be kinda what they would hear. There is a boat thing kind of going through this whole record, and I think anybody that lives their life on the water, or wants to, would be able to plug this thing in and get away from whatever is bothering them I think," Kenny adds. ___________________________ LEE ANN WOMACK'S CALL ME CRAZY CD IS OUT TOMORROW
Lee Ann Womack confesses that the title of her new album out tomorrow, CALL ME CRAZY was a title that she inspired!
Lee Ann says, "The pulled that title out of 'Last Call,' which is the first single. And, I know why they named it that because I have a tendency to be a little crazy and they've been at the receiving end of some of that crazy. But it's all good and we all have a good time. I work really hard when I work and I play hard when I play. I'm such a passionate person that I'm hot or I'm cold, I'm on or I'm off and so I have a tendency to be a little bit crazy and that's why they called it that."
