GARTH TO BE HONORED AT GRAMMYS ON THE HILL CF.COM When music and politics come together in Washington, D.C. this coming April, Garth Brooks will be one of the recipients of a Grammys on the Hill award for his work in improving the environment for music creators. Being honored along with Garth will be U.S. Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), and U.S. Representative Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) will be honored for their work in improving the environment for music creators. Taking place in the U.S. capitol, this year's GRAMMYs on the Hill events include the awards ceremony on Wednesday, April 14 and an advocacy day on Capitol Hill on Thursday, April 15, at which hundreds of music professionals from across the country will visit with legislators to advance pro-music policies that improve the environment for music and its makers. Recording Academy President/CEO Neil Portnow said of Garth, "As one of the most popular and philanthropic artists, Garth Brooks is an inspiration to musicians and fans alike." WEAR BLACK FOR JOHNNY CASH'S BIRTHDAY Help celebrate what would have been Johnny Cash's 78th birthday on Friday, February 26, the day that his final studio album, American VI: Ain't No Grave (American Recordings/Lost Highway), is officially released, and Wear Black for Johnny. Fans from all over the world are being invited to help celebrate Johnny Cash's life, music, and the enduring voice he gave to the poor and beaten down by posting pictures of themselves wearing black on February 26. More information as well as links to join the Facebook event (to post photos), follow on Twitter, and to hear the first single, "Ain't No Grave," can be accessed here: http://awe.sm/50ha7 <http://awe.sm/50ha7> Participants will be eligible to win a copy of the new American VI: Ain't No Grave, plus his amazing 5-CD box set, Unearthed. The lucky winner will be chosen at random on March 12, 2010. American VI: Ain't No Grave, is the sixth and final installment of Johnny Cash's critically-acclaimed American Recordings series, and, as with previous albums in this series, was produced by Rick Rubin. American VI is deeply elegiac and spiritual, with each song its own piece of the puzzle of life's mysteries and challenges - the pursuit of salvation, the importance of friendships, the dream of peace, the power of faith and the joys and adversities that entail simple survival. It is an achingly personal and intimate statement, as, from the end of the line, Johnny Cash looks back on a most extraordinary life. So, help celebrate the Man in Black's birthday and Wear Black for Johnny on 2/26. "Man In Black" (by John R. Cash) Well, you wonder why I always dress in black, Why you never see bright colors on my back, And why does my appearance seem to have a somber tone. Well, there's a reason for the things that I have on. I wear the black for the poor and the beaten down, Livin' in the hopeless, hungry side of town, I wear it for the prisoner who has long paid for his crime, But is there because he's a victim of the times. I wear the black for those who never read, Or listened to the words that Jesus said, About the road to happiness through love and charity, Why, you'd think He's talking straight to you and me. BLAKE SHELTON TO RELEASE SIX PAK ALBUM ENTITLED HILLBILLY BONE, FEATURING SIX BRAND-NEW SONGS, ON MARCH 2 FIRST SINGLE AND TITLE TRACK, A DUET WITH TRACE ADKINS, IS NOW AVAILABLE cf.com Blake Shelton has announced that he will release a value-priced album featuring six brand-new songs, entitled Hillbilly Bone, on March 2. "I talk to my fans every day and the first question they ask me is, ‘When are you going to release a new record?’” says Shelton, whose last studio album was 2008’s Startin’ Fires. “I want to give my fans new music more often and at a lower price. The fact that people will be able to get the new music for less money is a gift to my fans who have been behind me every step of the way." The first single is the title track, a comedic, sing-along duet with Shelton’s long-time friend Trace Adkins. The single and video for “Hillbilly Bone” is currently available from all digital service providers. ALSO, BLAKE ADMITS TO BEING ADDICTED...TO TWITTER! Blake took some time to chat with his fans via Facebook earlier this week, and one of the things he explained was his sudden absence from Twitter. Blake, who has been known to send as many as 50 – 100 tweets a day said, "Twitter got to be for me a little bit of an addiction. About a week ago or two weeks ago, I deleted it off my phone because I wanted a break for two or three weeks.” As for other future plans, Blake says he’s open to trying acting but it’s not a priority. He says, "It's not like anybody is beating down my doors. I have read for some parts, gotten a part or two for movies that never were made. I think I'm doing what I was meant to do. God's plan was for me to be a country singer." And Blake says he wants to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry. If he does get inducted he wants Trace Adkins to do the honors. FAITH HILL GUEST JUDGES FOR LIFETIME TELEVISION’S PROJECT RUNWAY FINALE
cf.com “Faith Hill stepped into the toughest Project Runway guest judging seat of the season -- the finale, which made her a deciding voice in naming the winner,” said ‘Runway’ Executive Producer Sara Rea. “She took on the task with flying colors. Faith was invested and took the job seriously. She gave constructive, relevant criticism and had a strong point of view. We really enjoyed having her.” As part of her duties, she attended the finale fashion show on Friday, February 12th, along with Project Runway host Heidi Klum and judges Michael Kors and Nina Garcia, who all furiously scribbled notes on each garment as a hundred models walked down the runway.
Faith said, “What I saw was truly extraordinary and it made judging very difficult. All of the designers were creative and imaginative. But there were some whose craftsmanship was impeccable. The passion that these individuals showed, and their eagerness to learn from feedback and criticism, should prove an inspiration for those that follow them.“ Hill returned to Nashville following the taping to continue work on her forthcoming studio recording. JIMMY WAYNE STILL WALKING TWO STATES WITH FOUR TO GO
Jimmy Wayne began his walk halfway across America on January 1, 2010, and last night at 7:12 pm CT, crossed the state line from Arkansas into Oklahoma. The Country star has logged 530 miles of the approximately 1700-mile walk for the initiative he named Meet Me Halfway. Wayne’s Meet Me Halfway campaign is designed to raise awareness of homeless teens and young adults who age out of the foster care system. But according to Wayne, the people he has met along the way have more than made up for the unpleasant weather conditions. “Walking through the small towns and farmlands in Tennessee and Arkansas has been one of the greatest experiences of my life,” Wayne said.

KENNY CHESNEY AND STEVE MILLER MEET AT "CROSSROADS"
Kenny Chesney has been playing Steve Miller songs since he was sitting on bar stools, playing for tips in Johnson City, Tennessee - and over the years, the blues guitarist's songs have become a go-to staple in Chesney's loose improv moments onstage, whether it's an NFL stadium or a Keg in the Closet college bar show. And sometimes art imitates life, as the pair found themselves together onstage at AT&T Park in 2008, trading songs and licks during Chesney's first San Francisco stadium play.
Now Kenny and Steve reunite to exchange songs for CMT: Country Music Television's “Crossroads.” Trading songs of their own, perhaps a couple of favorites and stories of their lives in song, the Steve Miller Band offers a cornerstone to the kind of intensity that Chesney's kind of country embodies.
“When Steve called and asked, I was ready to go,” Chesney says of what will be his second appearance on the series. “His songs are so much fun, so much a part of who anyone growing up who's a rock fan is… and having him onstage with us - doing 'Rockin' Me' and 'The Joker' - was one of those moments where you can't believe your life.
Indeed, Miller is a member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Emerging from the infamous Summer of Love as one of the leading rock denizens, the man whose roots are in the blues clubs of Chicago and Madison, Wisconsin has seen his Fly Like An Eagle, Book of Dreams and Abracadabra achieve multi-platinum sales.
“When you're standing onstage for soundcheck the day before a stadium show and your whole crew is standing there watching, that's when you realize what an artist like Steve's reach really is - the metal guys, the reggae people, the alternatives and the classic rockers were all lined up, just waiting for him to plug in and jam with us.”
KEITH URBAN COLLABORATES WITH “LOFTETTES” AND “LOFTETTE SOLOIST” FROM MERIDEN, CONNECTICUT

Songs performed included “I’m In”, “Only You Could Love Me This Way”, and Urban’s current single, his 21st Top 10, “Til Summer Comes Around” http://www.keithurban.net/kutube.html?ma_id=6 <http://www.keithurban.net/kutube.html?ma_id=6> (from Defying Gravity), as well as “Better Life”, which were sung by Urban and his backing group of 140, which he affectionately dubbed “The Loftettes”.
After a rousing performances of “Only You Could Love Me This Way”, Urban quipped, “(After that) you should be referred to as the ‘Loftettes’ and if you’re in this room you’re an official member. We should do a whole tour like that - with lots of tour buses.”
One of the most charming moments from this ‘day before Valentine’s Day’ event came from a little girl who sheepishly asked, “What did you get Nicole for Valentine’s Day?” After roaring laughter from all, including Urban, he responded by faking a wiring malfunction in his microphone. http://www.keithurban.net/valentines.html <http://www.keithurban.net/valentines.html>

“Kix and Ronnie are the original modern day honkytonkers. A lot of acts playing down on Lower Broadway try to emulate those guys,” said Bentley. “When we toured together, I watched their show every night from side-stage in total awe of the number of hits they’ve had and what they’ve built over the last few decades. They’ve done it all. I still can’t believe they’re about to retire. In true B&D fashion, I have no doubt they’ll go out in a BIG way and leave us wanting more. I’m honored the CRB asked me to help recognize them and their huge contribution to our format.”

TRACE ADKINS' BAND BUS INVOLVED IN FATAL CRASH
Early Saturday day in Caddo Parrish, Louisiana , Trace Adkins suffered a traveling musician's worst nightmare, a deadly bus crash. It happened when a pickup truck crossed the center line and crashed head-on into the tour bus carrying Trace's band. Both men in the truck were killed upon impact. None of Adkins' band received serious injuries, however, five were taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries and observation. Adkins, who was not on the bus, had already arrived at the venue when he heard the news. He went to the scene in a van where he picked up the uninjured band members, then went to the hospital to check on the others.
"This is a real tragedy," says Adkins. "Two people have been killed and I don't even know their names. So out of respect for their families, I prefer not to comment too much at this time."

KEITH URBAN WRITING WHEN HE CAN FOR NEXT ALBUM
Keith Urban was in Los Angeles last week for a round of phone interviews and he says what he’s been doing for the last two months is writing songs every day. Top Radio and TV personality, Becca Walls, asked him if there were plans for him to release a new album later this year and he said, "I'd like to at some point but I know we've got another single, probably, to come off of Defying Gravity, and there's a few up for consideration. But certainly right now “'Til Summer Comes Around" is doing great, so I think it's just not wanting to be too far behind schedule, and with so much touring coming up this year I can never have too many songs stockpiled, that's for sure."
RASCAL FATTS FEEL DUES PAYING IS BETTER THAN INSTANT "IDOL" SUCCESS
The new season of American Idol is in full swing, and while Rascal Flatts has nothing against the show, they feel like the contestants may be missing out on something by having a chance at instant stardom. Talking about their early days of playing at the Fiddle & Steel bar in Nashville, Jay DeMarcus says, “That's how we found ourselves, I mean literally, we spent night after night down there learning the art of entertaining a crowd. And I think if there's a criticism I have of this sort of microwave, instant stardom that some of these kids are experiencing nowadays with American Idol and things like that – it is a great forum to discover new talent that otherwise wouldn't be discovered – however, you don't get to put the time in learning how to be an entertainer. Because when you have to starve for your craft, it's more beloved to you when you have success.”

FANS PROMOTE CHESNEY FOR NEXT SUPER BOWL HALF TIME SHOW
Kenny Chesney has said he would love to play the halftime show for Super Bowl XLV (45), which will be held at Cowboys Stadium in Texas, but then we also told you that a representative from NFL programming said it probably wouldn’t happen because they prefer artists who have mass appeal but aren’t over exposed for the halftime shows. Well it now looks like Kenny’s fans are rallying behind him and a Facebook support page called “Kenny Chesney for Super Bowl 2011” has been started. They’re hoping to get enough supporters to petition the NFL to let Kenny do the halftime show. You can click here to join the group and show your support. http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=301888388224
McGRAW'S SOUTHERN VOICE TOUR ON THE ROAD
Tim McGraw launched his Southern Voice tour Thursday night in Omaha and he says for the first couple of months it’s going to be a very busy time in his life. Tim tells the Omaha World-Herald, “In January, I started a new album, a movie and getting ready for this tour, so it's going to be a pretty busy couple of months.” For the beginning of the tour he’ll mostly only tour on weekends, but once school is out he plans to hit it hard and he says his 3 daughters are excited to join him on the road this summer. As for what fans can expect if they go to his show, Tim says, “Every time we make up a set list, we feel like we're leaving something out. And we are. You just don't have enough time to get No. 1 records, Top 5 records, Top 10 records, our favorite records, album cuts. There's not enough time, so we finally have to put together something that we have fun playing.” Each night will include a little of all of those things plus a few new things off of a new album he’s working on.

SHANIA MAKES CONTACT THROUGH HER WEBSITE
Shania Twain has checked back in on her web site with a new letter to her fans and a couple of videos showing us what she’s been up to. She wrote her letter from the Caribbean where she says she’s warming up after a cold stretch in Canada during the holidays. The good news is Shania says she’s in writing mode, and the tropics are where she wrote a lot of the songs for her Come On Over and The Woman in Me CD’s, so this trip could hopefully be pretty productive. She didn’t offer any specifics about when we might get some new music, but she did say she’d back in touch with more news on what’s happening on her end. So stay tuned. To read her entire letter and to watch her home movies visit www.shaniatwain.com
JUSTIN MOORE IS A DADDY
Justin Moore’s wife, Kate, gave birth to their first child, daughter Ella Kole, on Thursday (Feb. 11). Little Ella came into the world at 12:29 PM, measuring 18 inches long and weighing in at 6 lbs. 8 oz. "She and my wife are perfect," Justin tells The Boot. "Both are doing great. All I can say is, ‘wow!’ It's the most unbelievable thing I've ever been through. [I’m] so thankful." Justin and Kate decided to plan Ella's birth via C-Section, due to the fact that Justin is in the midst of Brad Paisley’s American Saturday Night Tour, and he didn't want to risk missing the birth of their first child. "I'm so busy that we just had to pick a day,” continues Justin. “We picked the 11th, because that's the earliest they would let us do it. What's horrible was that I had to leave on the 12th, so it was rough.”
REBA SAYS NO MORE CHAINSAW'S FOR HUSBAND ON VALENTINE'S DAY
Newlywed Narvel Blackstock knew it was a gift she'd treasure forever when he gave wife Reba a diamond tennis bracelet for their first Valentine's Day. But no one knows where Narvel's Valentine from Reba is rusting now. "We had just bought our place in Gallatin and we were trying to clear it," Reba tells Country Aircheck Consumer News. "So I got him a chainsaw for Valentine's Day. Now that went over like a lead balloon because the chain was on backwards. He worked all day long trying to trim up some of the low branches. His shoulders, arm and neck were just killing him. The next day, he hired professional people to come in and clear the property. I don't know where that chainsaw is today, but I still got my tennis bracelet."

JEWEL’S RECENT RETURN TO ALASKA BROUGHT BACK FOND MEMORIES
Last year Jewel returned to Homer and Anchorage in Alaska, where the superstar was born and raised, for her first performances there in nearly ten years. We asked Jewel what it was like to be in her home state again. “I'm so proud to be from Alaska,” exclaims the singer-songwriter. “I had such a great time on my trip. Ty and his parents were able to come with me this time and it really made it special to share the experience with them. I did a show in my hometown of Homer to benefit the local arts program as well as performances in Anchorage. It is still one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. I don't get back to enough but I treasure every moment I'm there. I went to visit my family's homestead that my father keeps up and we had a big dinner with Alaska family members and my touring crew.”
ERIC CHURCH COMES THROUGH FOR FANS AFTER BLIZZARD CANCELLED SHOWS
Eric Church hit the road this week headlining the “Jagermeister Country Tour” despite extraordinary weather conditions in the northeast. The shows in Baltimore and Philadelphia were postponed due to the record breaking snowfall. Miraculously, Eric, his band and crew made it to the Fillmore Irving Plaza in New York for the show Wednesday despite blizzard conditions. Church hated to disappoint fans who couldn’t make it to the show due to the treacherous weather. Eric is honoring tickets to the rescheduled Philadelphia and Baltimore shows, as well as, personally refunding any unused tickets for the New York City show.
“My fans are the best and I never want to let them down” explains Church.
The Philadelphia show was rescheduled for Sunday, February 14 and the Baltimore show is rescheduled for February 22. For those ticket holders who can’t make the new show dates, please go to the point of purchase for refunds.
STEEL MAGNOLIA’S JOSH & MEGHAN RECALL ROMANTIC MEMORIES
As Valentine’s Day approached last week, Steel Magnolia were asked to recall memories of the romantic day. “Up until very recently, Josh and I have been struggling musicians,” notes Steel Magnolia’s Meghan Linsey. “Last year we were completely broke and I wasn't expecting anything [for Valentine’s Day]. I was just glad we were together. Then, Josh gave me an old classical guitar. He had painted flowers on it and on the back he wrote my initials and C.B.Y.D.T.Y. When I asked him what it stood for he said, ‘Can't Buy You Diamonds This Year.’ It was priceless!” Ever the romantic, Josh chimes in, letting us know what, he feels, is the most romantic song to share with your sweetheart on Valentine’s Day. “’Wonderful Tonight’ by Eric Clapton is one of the most romantic songs I've ever heard. It's just so honest. To me, the most romantic songs are just simple. They say, ‘I love you because you're you’.”
JARON EXPLAINS HIS LONG ROAD TO LOVE AND HOW IT LED TO WRITING HIS NEW SINGLE
Be sure to catch Jaron's video for "Pray For You." A lot of dumped-on guys are going to find it supremely cathartic as the character in the song fantasizes on what he'd like to see happen to his ex. “I’ve had a lot of great experiences, and I’ve dated awesome girls,” exclaims Jaron, of Jaron And The Long Road To Love, whose new tongue-in-cheek single “Pray For You” is impacting now. “And unfortunately, sometimes, and by the way, this is to no blame to anybody else, [it’s] my own experience, I’ve had some not so great experiences. Love is amazing, but it can sting, and it can hurt. I try to tackle both sides of it honestly. When love is beautiful and amazing, I’m gonna write about it. I’m gonna capture that. And when it’s miserable and sad and heartbreaking, I’m gonna give that to ‘em too.” That thought process led the singer-songwriter to pen his sarcastic new single. “I think it’s one of those private conversations that we’ve all had with ourselves that has now been brought out into the public, and people are just shocked by the honesty,” Jaron continues. “I don’t condone that people should go out and pray that negative things, bad things happen to people, I’m just saying that we’ve all done it before. It’s intellectually dishonest to say that people don’t feel this way sometimes. I’ve felt that way and if I felt that way, that means other people have.”

CHESNEY TO HAVE BROADCAST PRESENCE FOR THE SUPER BOWL
cf.com With two friends in the big game, Kenny Chesney will most definitely be heading to Miami for the Super Bowl. And having had a strong connection to ESPN, two of the all sports networks' biggest shows have reached to the 4-consecutive Academy of Country Music and 4-time Country Music Entertainer of the Year to stop by and talk about the upcoming game.
Look for Chesney to be a guest on “Mike & Mike,” where he's a frequent call-in presence, on Friday morning on both ESPN-2 and ESPN Radio. Then tune into a special Super Bowl Sunday edition of “NFL Countdown” Sunday at 1 pm to see Chesney talking about the game, being drafted - and cut - as a New Orleans Saint and, no doubt, the general mayhem in Miami.
“It's not like I'm the definitive voice or anything,” Chesney says of the two stops on ESPN, “but I do think I represent the definitive football fan. Me and the guys watch these games, live and die over who's playing who all season when we're closing out the tour - and this is, obviously, the biggest game of the year… So I love that Golic and Greenberg want me on their show.
“As for 'NFL Countdown,' well, that's like doing the Grammys for football. That's about the best analysis there is… and I'm looking forward to being part of their coverage.”
Chesney got his Super Bowl pregame started early - as No Shoes Radio (www.noshoesradio.com) has been broadcasting daily since Tuesday and carried a live concert by Uncle Kracker Wednesday night - and can't wait to get down to South Florida to get into the action. With editing on his “Kenny Chesney: Summer in 3-d” in the final stages, he's been working double shifts trying to be able to get out of town and just have a good time.
“You'd never believe how much work goes into something like this,” he laughs. “But once you're in, you can't just stop. So as much as I wanted to be down at the pool with Uncle Kracker, I've been in an edit bay, cutting film, changing shots - cause when the wheels go up tonight for Miami, I wanna be able to just forget about everything and enjoy some football!
“I know this year's Super Bowl is gonna be a great game. I'm not gonna bet on it, but I wouldn't want to… and that's half the fun of it! So I'm gonna get up early Friday, go hang with Mike & Mike and then have so much fun I'm gonna be ready to get back to work on the film on Monday!”
RASCAL FLATTS GET WITH THEIR BEST FRIENDS...SONGWRITERS!
cf.com Rascal Flatts hosted a party at the Musicians Hall of Fame Wednesday in Nashville to honor the 77 songwriters who contributed songs to their first six albums. The guys joked that they had ulterior motives for the party because they are working on a new album, so they had a two song minimum for the writers to get in and were asking them to drop their song ideas into a box as they came through the door. During the party the writers of eight of Rascal Flatts’ 11 number one songs got up and performed those songs in a “writers in the round” style setting.
2010 marks the 10th anniversary for the Rascal Flatts in the music business and they have A LOT in store for the year, including TV, a possible movie, a new album, a celebratory summer tour, an appearance on a reality show, new commercials for Hershey’s, a tie-in to the 2010 Winter Olympics and more. First up they will be on an upcoming episode of CSI, which will air on March 4th on CBS. The guys didn’t want to give too much away, but they did say there is an attempted murder on Jay, who gets electrocuted during the show. And Gary mentioned to me as he was walking out of the room, “we’re working on another movie, a mini-series in the spring.” When I asked their publicist about this she told me it was something that was still in the works, but said, “like I said, they have A LOT of interesting things that will be happening this year.” So stay tuned.
ONE OTHER RASCAL FLATTS NOTE:
FILMING A NEW HERSHEY'S COMMERCIAL NEXT WEEK
Gary “Next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday we'll be in L.A. shooting the new Hershey's commercial.”
Jay “We got to write the song for it.”
Gary “Yeah, we did. We wrote the song for it this year.”
Jay “And it doesn't have a title, so don't ask us what it is. We just called it 'The Hershey's Commercial' because we can't figure out what to call it.”
GARY ALLAN TO RELEASE TWO VERSIONS OF NEW ALBUM
Gary Allan will release his new album, Get Off On the Pain, on March 9th, and not only is he planning to release a standard version, but he also has a deluxe version in store for his fans. CARRIE UNDERWOOD PILING UP GREAT STUFF
You could say that Carrie Underwood is on a roll. On the heels of picking up her 5th Grammy award, she's headed toward another amazing weekend as she performs the national anthem for Sunday’s Super Bowl XLIV, then she did some winning of her own, scoring #1 video on iTunes with “Temporary Home.”
iTunes debuted the powerful video yesterday with a two-day exclusive, February 2 and 3, and “Temporary Home” will hit the broadcast airwaves when it makes its television debut February 4 in Hot Shot rotation on CMT and in Turbo rotation on GAC.
Fans can read about Carrie 'cause she's on the cover of the March issue of Cosmopolitan, on stands early this month, with an Allure cover feature hitting stands for their April issue. TAYLOR SWIFT IS FULL OF "GLEE"
cf.com Taylor Swift is full of glee about the TV show "Glee" that is. Taylor has been spotted lately hanging out with Cory Monteith, who plays the jock character Finn on the TV show Glee. According to Perez Hilton they had dinner together last week before hitting some Grammy parties. There’s no word on whether the two are dating or just friends, but according to MTV UK, Taylor would love to make a guest appearance on Glee. She says, “I'm really loving Glee right now. If it did happen, I'd love to see what they would do with me.”
TAYLOR'S TRIP A BREAK FROM CONSTANT SPOTLIGHT
When Taylor has finished her Australia tour, she'll be headed to Japan, which will take her out of the U.S. spotlight for a while. And considering her omni presence of late, that's a good thing. Her label head, Scott Borchetta says, "The next time you see her will likely be on the ACM awards show. During that time, we're going to have a new video, but as far as the talking head of Taylor Swift, that one's gone into hiding for a little bit, at least on this continent." But he does add, "as much as you try to pull back, there are some things you can't stop. We can't stop Us Weekly from snapping a picture of her and putting it on the cover." Taylor will kick off her sold-out North American tour on March 4th and she’ll continue working on her next album, with the first single expected to be released in late summer or early fall, followed by the album in late 2010. You can watch Taylor’s “Grammy-cam” footage on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today.

STEVE WARINER TAKES HIS GOOD VIBE TO THE COUNTRY VIBE
Chet Atkins had a real protege in Steve Wariner. He loved Steve's guitar playing so much he took Steve on the road with him on his one man magical guitar show, except for some accompaniment by Steve. Then Chet would let Steve step out front to show what he could do which was plenty good. So, it was altogether fitting that Steve was uniquely qualified to have paid tribute to Chet Atkins with lovingly authentic tribute to his mentor with the release of his “Steve Wariner, c.g.p., My Tribute To Chet Atkins.”
And you're likely to hear some of Steve's musical tribute to Chet and other stuff when he visits this week on this week’s edition of The Country Vibe with Chuck and Becca.
During the show you'll hear a track from the CD, “Producer’s Medley,” that won him a recent GRAMMY for Best Instrumental Performance. It was his fourth GRAMMY award.
The Country Vibe with Chuck and Becca can be seen on: AMG-TV, Fridays at 6:30 p.m. (EST) Untamed Sports, Saturdays at 10 p.m., Sundays at 11:30 a.m. and Wednesdays at 12:30 a.m. (EST) BlueHighways-TV, Mondays at 7:30 and 10:30 p.m., Fridays at 5 p.m. and Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. (EST) CoLours-TV Network; Check local listings for airdates and times *WTVF-Nashville Newschannel 5+ (Comcast Channel 250), Saturdays at 11 p.m. (CST).
